Part 2: Gratitude In The Darkness

November 24, 2024

Readings: Psalm 57:1-11

Series Description

We live in a world of entitlement where we expect things to be done for us and a world of discontentment where we are never satisfied with what we have. It is no wonder why so many are joyless, ungrateful, and unkind. But celebrating thankfulness is not to be done just one day a year on Thanksgiving Day, rather, God wants to create in us a thankful heart all throughout our life, even in circumstances that may not be so great. But many ask, is it even possible to cultivate a thankful heart? Well the answer is yes! And those that practice gratitude to God and to others end up having transformed hearts simply because they express that thankfulness. As the world gets darker and filled with hopelessness, it is those that are thankful that will be the ones that shine brightly with the light of Jesus.
