Everyone is searching for hope nowadays. We look for it in our relationships, the job, or the possessions that we have. We look for it in the politicians we vote for, the nest egg that we have saved for, and even in the substances that we try. With so much uncertainty in our lives and in the world, it is easy to be crippled by fear and despair. But how does Christmas change all that? What if Christmas meant that a Savior was coming? A Savior who could change everything about the situations that we face, a Savior who would change the world, and a Savior who could even change us. Who is this Savior who invites us to do life with Him, make our impossibles possible, and our waiting purposeful? Who is this Savior who can give us joy that is immovable, peace that is everlasting, and a hope that gives us perspective no matter the circumstance?
